The fingerprints I left, the tears I shed
All is smoke now & all is dead
(To my mother)
The prayers you have sent,
The happiness you have burned,
The tragedies you have tolerated,
The moments you have decorated.
Once upon a time, when special ones I left,
Trifles of my people & your love with me I kept.
(To my special ones)
Standing on my broken thighs,
Churning me with core of sighs,
When remembering your beautiful lies,
And the deep ocean like eyes.
Once upon a time, those beautiful days of my childhood
Of broken & fragmented toys, only yielded a deadwood.
(To my care takers)
The years you devoted,
The cries you quoted,
The letters you wrote,
Flinches the breath through my throat.
(To my family)
That aalaw of my mother,
& shared secrets with brother,
That usual scare of my father,
& an ever lasting love with sister.
Once upon a time, in a white, dark & dead winter,
That warmth of kangre still keeps me hot & brighter.
(To everyone)
Wanna tell my tales which look dead,
& tales of the borders which are red,
Old fingerprints may again knot a thread,
If not with lost friends atleast with my broken bed.
